What Matters

November 5th, 2005 by Administrator

Heard this, and thinking about it…

When its time for you to go, as that time will most certainly come,

What Price to Succeed?

November 5th, 2005 by Administrator

nullI heard a remark from a friend who after reading how a person worked 80-100 hour weeks to move his company forward, and said, ” Heck! if I was getting a million dollars in pay, I’d be willing to do anything!”

And he is right. Anybody of us would do as well. But we may never have that kind of offer until we slowly move our capabilities and accomplishments forward near that. What determines success is not how hard you are willing to work for something that will double or triple your pay. What determines success for you now is how hard you are willing to go to better your results 10 or 20 percent, or get the company to pay you 10 or 20 percent more.

Let us not dream too much of thousand mile journeys. Let us just make sure we plan and execute the next mile better. Then that 100% or 200% offer will come.
