Last week, I was invited back to my university alma mater as a speaker. It has been over 20 years since I graduated from college. When it was time to sing the university hymn, I found out I could still remember most of the lyrics. Then I remembered meeting some college and high school friends, even my old school teachers, and I remembered their names.

Which just goes to show that what you learn stays with you. That is the value of education. Once you learn something, it stays, and you continue to benefit from it for years to come.

I saw an article that debated whether PCs or cell phones have more impact on our lives the last 25 years. ( cell phones I think were prevalent only on the last 15). I used both extensively, and cannot imagine life without both. Some say cell phones enable some people not to use the PCs anymore, but for me it has become more of both. Cell phones are now acting like mini-computers too. What is your take?
