Adrian White, a socialpsychologist at the University of Leicester in Central England have published a list of countries ranked according to happiness. The main factors were health provision, wealth and education. Denmark, Switzerland, Austria, Iceland and the Bahamas were the top 5.

The US came in at 23rd, Britain 41st, Germany 35th and France 62nd. At the bottom were Congo, Zimbabwe and Burundi out of the 178 counry list. Asian countries, in general, scored low, with China 82nd, Japan 90th, and India 125th. More …

Making Decisions

One of the things I think we could improve is the careful consideration and thought when making major decisions. I am amazed at how quickly many people make major decisions.

The offshoot of course is that you spend less than 5 percent making the decision and more than 90 percent of your time making a bad decision work. For instance, I still am amazed at the considerations people make when choosing which school to attend in college, or what course to take.
