My friend, Kaleem Aziz, likes to sign his email with the tagline, “Unless we all win, we all lose.”
Which I remembered was the same answer I gave when I was being interviewed in a TV talk show recently, and asked, ” what is the secret of your business’ success?”
I told them ” We look at our customers as our partners. We recognize that if we win, and they don’t, they won’t stay as our customers for long. But if we make them win by doing business with us, then they will keep coming back.”

Problogger, which I have been following for some months, and probably one of the few sites that really tells you how to write, how to market your blog, has an excellent article which basically says that you have to target your readers to increase your readership.
Ditto in Business. It is hard to come up with products and prices, unless you can visualize who will be the people who will buy or use those products.

I love to write. I am more than a year blogging, and I have written a weekly computer column for our paper for 12 years. I also increasingly speak a lot before various audiences. Of course, I always tell myself that when I have time, I will write a book.
Seth Godin, a well known writer, has written a great advice for writers in his blog.
And I draw inspiration from his last quote:
“Writing a book is a tremendous experience. It pays off intellectually. It clarifies your thinking. It builds credibility. It is a living engine of marketing and idea spreading, working every day to deliver your message with authority. You should write one.”
