How to Lose Weight
Administrator
I am not the best expert to write this — I have been, over 25 years trying successfully and unsuccessfully to lose weight - it would seem that if I have a bad indulgence, it is the enjoyment of food.
However, since new year I’ve lost 5 pounds, and I would like to share how I did it. People who saw me and heard I’ve lost some immediately starts to ask what diet I am following.
At the end, I think it does not matter what diet I am following - most are OK if you just religiously follow it. So it is really a matter of execution rather than ideas.
This time, I really did not follow any particular diet, I just decided to execute better by increasing awareness.
What I found out is that I have a predisposition to nibble unconsciously. That means when I’m thinking or having a business lunch, I would just keep getting portions and portions of food as I converse or think.
So I decided the best way to increase awareness was just one — I religiously write down all I ate. It did not matter what or how much I ate, I was just to write it down in the list.
I think by consciously following that, I was able to have more awareness, and thus prevent eating something unconsciously. I think as long as the awareness is there, I will be more successful - that means I think as long as I keep listing down what I eat, I should be able to continue with this program more successfully.
What do you think?

Who wants to gain weight?
Have you have of the Negative Calorie Diet? I think it’s controversial way of dieting but it seems to be working for some people… or so they say. Read more about it here http://www.ebookproperty.com/negative_calorie_diet.html

My take:
Change your source of carbohydrates from white rice/white bread/pasta/white sugar to brown rice/wheat bread/brown sugar. These brown types have more fibers and nutrients in them, unlike their counterparts that have been refined.
It would be best even if you put in more vegetables and fruits for better sources of carbohydrates.
Then go for moderate protein and less fat.
It worked for me, I hope it will work for you.

Hey, I just started working for a Public Relations company who was turned on to a new product called FBCx. It stands for Fat Binding Complexer and pronounced F-bex. I did some research and found it is an all-natural dietary fiber that is able to bind dietary fat. I was skeptical, as were some of the other people in the office (mostly women), until we started losing weight! A few people have lost over 30 pounds already and are raving about being able to fit into “favorite jeans” from 2 years ago. It’s really easy to keep up with too; you just take it with your 3 regular meals. If you want to do your own research or try it out for yourself http://www.fbcx.com has everything you need to know about it or you can ask the doctors who created it.

I totally agree with that technique on writing it down. My personal trainer had me writing down everything I ate. I would grab a snack here and there and not realize it. The task on writing everyting you eat on a sheet of paper can be tedious at times but after a while you get used to it. Another technique that worked for me is eating 30 mins after I wake up so I jump-start my metabolism. I even started my own 40 lb weight-loss challenge. The main thing with losing wieght is staying on track and staying motivated.
Check out my blog on how I lost 30lbs in 2 months http://howilossweight.blogspot.com. I lost 17 lbs my 1st month doing my weight-loss challenge.
