What is a Failure?

July 7th, 2007 by Administrator

Bill Cosby once said, “I don’t know the secret to success, but the key to failure is to try and please everyone“.

He has a point. I remember somebody also says, and which I could not agree more, ” A failure is somebody who has the same problems he has yesterday, and the same problems he has last year.”

I think it is not possible to ask that we don’t have problems. If you love life, then you should welcome problems, or shall we say challenges. Challenges makes you alive, and makes you wise. If you welcome challenges, and don’t let its success or failure put you down, then you are on the road to fulfillment, and enlightenment.

The thing to look out though is that you have different challenges. I started to think about problems, when I uttered in one of our meetings that nothing makes you feel old than having the same problems every day!

So I say the mark of success is when you have lots of different new challenges to meet everyday, and the mark of failure is when you keep having the same problems day in and day out! So, solve your present problems once and for all, so you can welcome new ones!
