Moving without Pushing

Entrepreneurs are normally driven people.
One of the most frequent complaints entrepreneurs have on others, especially those that work for entrepreneurs are that many people don’t have self motivation.
Here is a nice anecdote about people who can propel themselves, and those that needs to be pushed.
There was once an entrepreneur who lived in a small lumber village. The village had only a few hundred people, and he very well was almost the village chieftain as well as its leading businessman. And for good reason - he was responsible, well-liked, friendly, and most of all, hardworking. Everyday, he would go to the office promptly at 8:00 and work conscientiously till late evening without even taking time off. At least until recently, when people noticed that he would promptly put everything that he was working down at around 3:00 p.m., go out of the office without informing everybody, and come back around 3:30.
He kept doing this for weeks till people got curious where he usually goes. So they decided to follow him.
They noted that he would go down his office, and walk towards the train station. The train station only stops once a day at the village to drop and take in passengers as well as goods. They noted that he would stand on one side, and look at people disembarking from the train, and some people going up, and then would slowly watch as the train goes on its journey.
Maybe he is waiting for somebody? Maybe he wants to know who goes in and out of town everyday?
At length, they could not contain their curiosity any longer, so they decided to just ask him.
why do you go to the train station everyday, and watch the train come and go?
"Well,", he answered. " It is some sort of therapy for me. You know I work on many things and many tasks everyday, and scores of people report to me that I monitor and manage. I figure it would be good for my sanity to go and watch the train come and go. It is great always to comfort myself that at least when I watch the train go, there is something in this village that moves without me having to push behind!"
