November 2nd, 2007 by Administrator

Over the last two weeks, I was able to dig in the few thousands of photos in my hard disk, and organize/categories it according to some of the important milestones, including the various times I attended some well known business/tech conferences, and entrepreneur awards.

The few hundreds I selected is located in our company photo gallery Its NGenius, and you are all welcome to have a view of it.

Google and My Space Teams Up

November 2nd, 2007 by Administrator

In business, it is about maneuvering — not only to excel, but to get the right partnerships.

Microsoft is an excellent company, but its dominant position has been against them, and for the last 10 years, it has become Microsoft vs. the rest of the world.

That was evident in its perceived positioning in Windows, Microsoft Office, Windows Server, Internet Explorer, and other products.  Even on its .NET technology which however has been gaining against other development platforms, most notably Java.

Now its ardent courting of Facebook is bringing about another thing — it has become Facebook & Microsoft vs the rest of the world.  Apparently, it drove MySpace to work with google’s consortium.

Facebook currently is still about a third the size of MySpace, and if you consider the other social networks, even less.

It will be a tougher fight considering Google has more social networks with more members, but also its technology seems to be based on existing platforms.  I am sure Microsoft will work something out with Facebook to make the APIs and development more standard and mainstream, but nevertheless, how soon it can be done would be something that would be exciting to watch.
