It suddenly became the world’s largest company, and not only that — at $1 trillion it was double the size of Exxon Mobil’s current capitalization of $488 billion.

And its in China. 

Is the Chinese stock market getting too hot?  Most likely. Will it cool off soon.  Your bet is as good as mine.

PetroChina became the world’s first company worth more than $1 trillion on Monday, surging past Exxon Mobil as the Chinese oil producer’s shares nearly tripled in their first day of trading in China.
