Article suggests, which I agree, that it is possible to become very famous by becoming very rich. Or the other way around — you can become very rich by becoming very famous first.
By the way, this Forbes article also suggests, which i think to be very possible at least of this writing, that Warren Buffet is now richer than his old pal, Bill Gates.
But who aspires to become happy? Can you become happier if you make happiness your goal? Or will it make it as elusive as ever? I guess it goes back to the old GE adage - you cannot improve what you can’t measure…..
But is a person considered happy already if he aspires to be happier? If you have ten million dollars, are you considered wealthy if whole day long, you are scheming and aspiring to make it twenty million?

In an era when business news commands the front page, it was inevitable that the richest men and women would become famous simply for being very rich.

Much have been said about Bobby Fischer’s talent and genius as a chess master.
However, talent alone is not enough. I think what needs to be highlighted is not the prodigious talent of Bobby but the story that he focused and worked 15 to 16 hours a day doing nothing but chess.
As his nemesis, Boris Spassky said, ‘ Chess is like Life‘. But Bobby Fischer said, “ Chess is Life“.
Maybe that singular focus was instrumental in his success in chess, in his chosen endeavor and craft. But that same paranoia served him not well as he was generally regarded not a success in life.
Success has a price, and it is important that you know the price you are paying for.
I quote another person which can be something to think about, ” Came, Saw, Conquered, had second thoughts.“
