I have been having a ball updating our business cartoon site everyday.
It is great to remember all the hilarious experiences this cut throat industry can bring.

This is an informative article…. here are some takeaways I got…
- in Texas some highways have limits of 80 mph.
- Upto 30 states have limits of 70 or 75 mph.
-77% of truck companies limit their truck speed to 68 mph
-slowing a fully loaded semi from 75 mph to 65 mph results in 27% improvement in fuel economy, and lengthens engine oil and tire life.
While I feel that we should limit cars to 75 mph, and trucks to 65 mph, the association says that it could create hazards overall because cars will keep trying to overtake trucks. it is better to have an across-the-board speed limit.
Lower speed limits makes more enjoyable driving, and saves fuel as well as improving safety. why are we all such in a hurry?
Can’t drive 55? How about 65 instead -
A national limit on speed limits, set at 55 mph, was enacted in 1974 in response to a severe oil shortage. Even after the crisis had passed, it was kept in place because of apparent safety benefits. In the mid-1980s, restrictions were loosened to allow higher speeds and the law was finally stricken altogether in 1995.
