This is a positive news. I have heard Jeff several times, and he is undoubtedly one of the visible Microsoft executives. Having him in the foundation means that he will less likely be hired by competitors, and moreover, a foundation, especially the size of the Gates Foundation needs a good CEO.

It is as hard to give money effectively as it is to earn money….

I hope in my lifetime, I will have time to retire and probably put some years into giving back to community full time.
