Here are some things to ponder that I wrote down as I do some readings over the weekend.

-In today’s age when everything is so interconnected and open, underachievers are not born, but more likely made.

-Mistakes are likely more to be made by those who don’t know what they’re doing, and also by those who know too much.

- A person is said to be likely to play golf the way he conducts business. And a golfer who cheats is more likely to cheat in business.

- to really know a man, observe his behavior when he is alone with a child, or when the boss is away.

Over the course of our business and our life, we start to be involved and interested in many things. These little things can distract us, and also make us lost a lot of time — time that could have been better devoted if we have been more focused.

It is said that tiny curstaceans no bigger than walnuts can slow down a big ship significantly. These little things can become two or three inches thick in the underside of the ship after a few months, and reported can add a lot of drag to the ship and thus reduce ships’ speed by over 10 percent as well as adding well over a hundred tons to its weight.
