The difficult thing in life is to be successful by making sure you don’t take risks that end up in spectacular failures. I am not sure about yours, but I have foregone spectacular opportunities because I could not bear the downside.
Some people make it big, but the slightest misstep also means that you may fail without ever being able to recover…. and that is not what I think life is about.
Brian Hunter faces charges of market manipulation - Jul. 8, 2008
Hunter is an international man of mystery. We do know that he is young - he was a mere 32 when Amaranth collapsed. We know that he is rich. He made roughly $100 million in 2005, the year before his luck ran out. But we don’t know his view of events or even what he looks like, because Hunter hasn’t talked or allowed anyone to take his picture. He likes to greet reporters who show up looking for him and tell them that Brian Hunter isn’t there.

The developing countries may have a point …. Probably 90% of the pollution yup there are by developed countries, and their not only being wealthier, but their putting those existing pollutants on the first place means that they should spend more, and get higher responsibilities in terms of eliminating this….

Google Mail was the latecomer.
Yahoo and hotmail are veterans, but it seems only Google is really paying attention to this segment…. Not much has changed on webmail until Google come, and I think for good reason — providing free email, I think is hardly profitable…. Even when you can offer ads, it is hardly clicked, in my opinion.
However, I think it is a great tool to keep your mindshare with a lot of consumers….
But so far, google has continued to innovate and the below feature certainly is welcomed. I have 2 notebooks, and 3 desktop computers, and this scenario that they outlined ( logging in gmail at home, and leaving it one, and then going to the office) certainly may be more popular occurence than we think.
Gmail allowing remote log-off in case you forget - Yahoo! News
But what if you forget to log off? Someone else who encounters an active session not only can read your personal correspondences, but they also can use that account to grab your passwords from many online services that offer to send reminders via e-mail.
Google Inc.’s Gmail service is trying to address that by letting you know if you’re still logged on elsewhere and giving you a chance to disconnect remotely.
At the bottom of a Gmail inbox is a small notice of other active sessions. The new feature, being rolled out to users in waves, also offers some information on the time and location of recent Gmail activities.
