Fairly Steep Drop in IT spending

From end of the month of September 2008 ( when crude oil was about $100 a barrel), oil prices has plunged almost 35% ( to about $65 per barrel at end of Oct 2008).
It seems IT spending is rapidly going down as well……

Pacific Growth Equities found that 34% of companies had postponed or canceled IT projects since Sept. 8.
