There has been a perked up demand for Microsoft products and others due to the BSA antipiracy campaign. I would like to ask everybody to be careful also that they buy the license properly. Foremost is that there are now lots of FAKE licenses. They looked like original, but is not. Be sure what you are buying is genuine. The worst thing is you spend money, and end up still pirating! Check with Microsoft or their representatives when in doubt. Also I got a note from the Microsoft MDP here which I am publishing.

Technology is making overseas calls increasingly affordable. I can recall over 10 years ago, calling the United States would cost over 2 dollars per minute. Now it is mostly 40 cents, and with this new promo from Globe for its prepaid and G-Plan users, it is even cheaper. In its new CelebRATE promo, now calling to US, Canada, Hongkong, Singapore, China, Malaysia, South Korea and Thailand will cost 40 cents/ min. for the first 4 minutes, and only 20 cents per minute thereafter. This promo is good from August 28 to Sept 16, 2005.

Cost Effective, Power Efficient Technology Drives Innovative New Wireless Applications and Devices
New technology for silicon germanium processors promises to reduce the cost of mobile consumer products, advance high-bandwidth wireless communications, and push such innovations as collision-avoidance automobile radar.
IBM’s fourth generation of silicon germanium (SiGe) chip manufacturing, named 8HP, delivers twice the speed of earlier processors. IBM is also offering a lower cost variation, 8WL, that will provide longer battery life in cell phones and improved performance that, in turn, will help spread wireless local area networking and global positioning satellite (GPS) technology. more.
