NGenius IT Hub prepares to open its third branch in SM Cebu City this December, after successfully opening the branches in Asiatown IT Park ( open 24 hours), and converting the Ng Khai Service Center to its second branch in Ayala Cebu.

NGenius also tapped the talents of Raki Vega, who was the champion of the Born Diva Competition of ABS CBN late 2004. NGenius COO, Melanie Ng, is very happy to have Raki as their product endorser.

NGenius will try to promote its brand under the tagline, ” It’s NGenius. ” - “The Newest Word for Cool”. It will engage in a series of print, and video ads, as well as billboards as it promotes the digital life.

NGenius is coined after the word ingenius, which means a clever gadget, an inventive solution to a problem, or something that’s cool, a word that the managers believe is what the digital life promises to be. NGenius will be a computer gadgets and gizmos stores which offers cool products, great prices, and excellent services.

The Ng Khai Ladies Basketball had their last game on November 26 after the Vixens and the All Stars tied one game each. The Vixens won the final game, and garnered the championship with a 2-1 win loss record.

- SQL Server 2005 has 40% performance improvement over SQL Server 2000
- SQL Server 2005 has built-in data mining and business intelligence
- SQL Server can scale better. Largest install for SQL Server 2000- 26,000 users. Larger install for SQL Server 2005 - 93,000 Concurrent users in SAP
- SQL Server 2005 has a 50% off for licenses for competitive database upgrade for a limited time.
- SQL Server 2005 will not charge for licenses for the passive cluster in a high availability active-passive cluster.
- SQL Server 2005 charges by CPU, not by core. So if you use Dual or Multicore CPUs, you only need to pay for 1 server license.
- SQL Server Express 2005 is available for free.

Program provides hosting community with technical tools and resources to help lower costs and increase average revenue per user.

InfoWorld has already reviewed the single-core implementation of the ProLiant DL585 and the Sun Fire V20z, the 1U dual-processor sibling of the Sun Fire V40z. Both were solid performers, although the DL585 had the edge in manageability and high-availability features. In short, you’ll find that the dual-core versions of these Opteron servers remain solid systems. Both companies have also made moderate updates to the server hardware since the previous reviews, but overall, the same conclusions hold: The ProLiant DL585 is a better server, with better management, I/O and high-availability monitoring features, and a better RAID controller, at a slightly better price.

The bottom line, DL585 server was able to gain 8.2% for review and scoring methodology of InfoWorld. More…
