Intel Core i7 and i5 processors Amazing Overclocking Flexibility

Intel has launched two new ‘K’ series Core i7 and Core i5 processors to the market, based on the same Lynnfield and Clarkdale packages, respectively, but with that very overclocking friendly word associated with them; “unlocked”. This means more multiplier options to play with while being sold at significantly cheaper than Extreme Edition pricing.

The two unlocked K series CPUs to hit town first up are the Core i7-875K which we looked at in detail earlier today to see how much we could push out of it and also the Core i5-655K. These processors come with default clock rates of 2.93GHz and 3.20GHz, respectively. Samsung eboard: The 21st Century eClassroom

The recent NK Education Summit held at the Cafe Laguna showcased the 21st Century Classroom with Samsung E-Board fully interactive 65″ LCD with software to mirror an interactive whiteboard.

An alternative to the conventional projector and interactive whiteboard, Samsung E-Board 650 is a touch enabled LCD panel with pen-based annotation and control software. Comes with Samsung U-Class software.

The E-Board uses both touch and a dummy pen and has dual touch capability, which means two people can use it at the same time.

Behold: the zettabyte.

One zettabyte is equal to 1 million petabytes, or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 individual bytes.

As a frame of reference, an average mp3 is about 375,000 bytes or 3 MB.
