Maxicare now in Cebu

With the rise of Medical Insurances and Medical Clinics, Maxicare finally opened its branch in Cebu. They different types of privileges just like what other health institutions and hospitals are offering to the people.

“The idea is not only service, but the speed of the delivery of service.”

This was how Maxicare’s Jo Aguilar boasted of the company’s efficiency and first-class service after Maxicare was formally launched in Cebu.

Its Cebu branch and sales office is located at the third floor of Borromeo bldg., Kamuning st. (at the back of Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital).

Maxicare said it is committed to provide premium quality care and prioritize sustaining mutually beneficial relationships with all its partners.

“With our impressive roster of over 4,000 affiliated specialists, fellows and diplomats and more than 260 hospitals and clinics, excellent medical treatment is always available to all our members,” the management added.

Aguilar said they operate like a hospital as they offer privileges like in/outpatient care, annual check-up, emergency care, dental program and even life insurance and maternity services for corporate accounts.

The firm also has an international emergency assistance where a member can call a hotline through its global assistance. “It’s an assurance that even if you travel, we are always here to assist you,” Aguilar added.

After the busy month of June which was the Cebu Business Month, trustees of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated the Grand Chamber Awards. It was time to enjoy the accomplishments of the business community.


The trustees of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce went native — putting on native costumes, and in the spirit of fun, dance together, as they have used to work together.


The trustees, in Philippine costumes decided to pose a picture for posterity, in front of a native house named, “pista sa sugbu’ which means feast in Cebu.

Mandaue gets OK to host SEAG

THE NEWLY renovated Mandaue City Sports Complex, the venue for the karatedo event of the coming Southeast Asian Games, passed the ocular inspection conducted by representatives from Malaysia and Singapore.
