Cebuano shooter joins Goma in SEA Games

In the upcoming 23rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, Gerry Velez, 36, of Barangay Lahug, Cebu City, will compete alongside actor Gomez in the clay pigeon speed shooting contest.
Velez took first place during the country’s qualifying round for the event. He will be joining the Philippine contingent to the games, to be held in the country from November 27 to December 5.
Velez owns a Benelli M3 12-gauge pump-action shotgun, which he uses as a member of the Camagong Gun Club.
