Welcome to AIESEC!
AIESEC, the world’s largest student organization, is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact on society.
Towards this aim, we run more than 350 conferences, provide 3,500 work abroad opportunities, and offer over 5,000 leaderships positions to our members each year. Together with a focus on building personal networks and exploring the direction and ambition of their future, AIESEC has an innovative approach to engaging and developing young people. Present in over 800 universities in 91 countries and territories.
Our partner organizations, literally thousands from all sectors, look at AIESEC as a way to support the development of young people and to have access to high-potential young talent from around the world.
Our alumni are leaders within these organizations and their communities – using the experience, skills, and increased vision that AIESEC gave them to be agents of positive change.
AIESEC In the Philippines
AIESEC Philippines is a registered NGO under the Securities and Exchange Commission. AIESEC Philippines Foundation Inc. is present in 10 Universities with 8 Local Committees. These are; Ateneo De Manila, Ateneo De Cagayan, De Lasalle University, Assumption College, St. Scholastica, University of the Philippines-Diliman, University of the Philippines-Cebu, University of Asia and the Pacific, Xavier University and University of San Carlos. We also have a Member Committee that takes charge of overall consolidation of efforts and strategic direction of the organization on a national level.
Our Platform
The AIESEC platform consists of a number of different opportunities through which an individual creates their own AIESEC experience. This same platform also serves to connect our partner organizations to the talented young people within AIESEC. The main opportunities of the platform are working abroad, learning networks, leadership experience, conferences, and supported self-discovery.
Together with the principles of the AIESEC Approach, this platform is how we give young people the desire and capacity to have a positive impact on society – that is the AIESEC Difference.
Working Abroad – the opportunity to work abroad is the defining element of the platform and is the most intense experience we offer. We enable about 3,500 members to work abroad each year in fields of management, technical, education, and development.
Leadership Experience – through the management of over 870 offices at the local, national, and international level, we provide about 5000 leadership opportunities to our members each year. This provides our members with valuable and practical experience in both hard and soft skills in management and leadership.
Conferences – we organize approximately 350 conferences each year to train and develop our members. These conferences provide the opportunity to practice leadership, gain important trainings, and develop a network.
Learning Networks- through virtual and physical interaction, learning networks enable different stakeholders to come together to develop their skills, knowledge, and networks on topics of interest. Examples of learning network topics include Sustainability, HIV/AIDS, and Entrepreneurship.
The majority of our partner organizations engage with AIESEC through one of these platforms in order to increase their profile, attract top talent to their organization, or to support our efforts in enabling young people to develop and discover their potential. National Development Conference
AIESEC Approach
AIESEC is an international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential. Our aim is to give people the capacity and desire to have a positive impact in society - a person we refer to as a “change agent.†Together with AIESEC Platform, this is our approach to creating young people with desires, skills, and attitudes to make a difference in society. That is the AIESEC Difference.
AIESEC Experience
The following diagram shows the different steps in being an AIESEC member.
All members go through a formal introduction to the organization and then begin to take on responsibility in some area.
They then have the option to take on leadership, work abroad, or both.
The final step is to head to the future - to take the skills, inspiration, and networks from AIESEC to have a positive impact in society. This flow and the opportunities within it were built on the following principles.

AIESEC is a leading platform for young people to develop and discover their potential to have a positive impact in society. The centerpiece of the AIESEC experience is the international exchange program that gives young people an excellent opportunity to work in a foreign company. Currently more than 4,000 young students and recent graduates in 2004.
Through this program, AIESEC provides organizations around the globe access to our diverse international talent and perspectives coming from the widespread network of AIESEC.
The International Exchange has been continuously improved and developed, in order to meet the increasing demand from the organizations of a professionally delivered program. Our online global data-base ensures rigorous searching of candidates and precise selection according to the needs and requirements of each organization.
The AIESEC exchange program enables organizations to source high potential students and recent graduates from over 870 universities in 91 countries and territories. The AIESEC interns prove to be an excellent solution for covering both long-term and short-term human resource needs according to the strategic needs of each organization.
