ASEAN Summit In Cebu
Saturday, December 17th, 2005Cebu City will get to host the 12th ASEAN Summit in December 11-13, 2006. ASEAN groups Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
But is Cebu City ready to host such event of this magnitude?
As host to the most important meetings of the region’s top leaders plus seven other leaders from Japan, China, India, Russia, Australia, Korea, and New Zealand, Cebu ’s facilities and infrsructures needed for the summit need to be spruced up to meet the required international standards.
