DOT-7 Launched 2 Cebu Guide Books
In line with the Department of Tourism’s drive to attract more tourists to Cebu, PDP Digital Inc., one of the leaders in digital photography and publishing in the country, together with DOT-7, launched last Friday two travel guide books about Cebu.
The books ‘Your Guide to Cebu, Philippines’ and the Japanese version of the ‘Philippine Diving, the Ultimate Guide to Apo Island, Bohol, Cebu and Siquijor’ are essential tools to every tourist who want to explore the natural and cultural wonders of Cebu.
For a tourist, a guide book should illustrate the littlest details of the places that are not easily available from brochures and other promotional handouts. It should contain all the vital information every tourist should know about the place, from the least known public beach to the touristy island resort, and from the offbeat eatery to the classy fine dining and other pertinent information.
The book, ‘Your Guide to Cebu, Philippines’ packs with the most comprehensive travel guide in Cebu ever published. It highlights its rustic towns and quaint municipalities, their history, the people, and the myriad tourist spots. Like any other travel guide books though, it also features extensive coverage of the many interesting activities around the province such as golfing, scuba diving, and shopping. Cultural highlights include art galleries, museums, theaters, festivals, centuries-old churches and historical landmarks.
‘Your Guide to Cebu, Philippines’ is co-published and highly endorsed by the Department of Tourism and will be available in all its offices worldwide.
The Japanese version of the ‘Philippine Diving, the Ultimate Guide to Apo Island, Bohol, Cebu and Siquijor’ meanwhile is a must-have book for every Japanese-speaking diver and diving enthusiast alike.
Both books will soon be available in National Boostore outlets nationwide. National Bookstore branches in Cebu are in Mango Plaza (near Fuente Osmena), Ayala Center Cebu, and SM City Cebu.
