All the 47 towns and five cities in Cebu will soon get financial assistance from the national government to promote and develop their products where most of the local population derive their livelihood from.

In the meantime, the Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) had selected 12 municipalities and one city in the province for the first phase of the program. These are Talisay City and the municipalities of Dalaguete, Carmen, Argao, Bantayan, Madridejos, Carcar, Consolacion, Sta. Fe, Compostela, San Francisco and Poro.
