Who says Metro Cebu is running out of water?

Cebu City is a growing urban center. Although there is a doomsday scenario about the future of water supply in the city, government officials and some people from different sectors argue that water crisis is unlikely to happen, at least in the near future.

Mactan Rock Industries Inc. (MRII), a Cebu-based water supplier has assured there is enough water for Cebu City . Its official however, did not say exactly as to how long can the water supply in Metro Cebu last. The company is a major water supplier to large establishments in many cities across the country, including Metro Cebu.
