Most of our Chinese brethrens especially Chinese-Filipinos consider noodles as life extenders. A strand of noodle is long life typified owing primarily to its thread-like physical appearance. Long noodle is the symbol of longevity in China. During New Year, Japanese families eat a meal together which usually features a special type of buckwheat noodle called soba, a symbol of long life.
An entrepreneur couldn’t find a more fitting name for its restaurant than Banri Noodle House. Banri, in Japanese, means forever. The aptly named Banri Noodle House is a Japanese restaurant who serves nothing but noodles. Downing a bowl of noodles at Banri Noodle House is like getting a new lease in life.
