Yokohama logoYokohama Rubber Company is the seventh largest tire manufacturer in the world and is one of the most recognised names in tire technology.

Based in Tokyo, Japan, Yokohama Tire Corporation has experienced enormous growth since its beginnings in 1969. In 1996, it established a Philippine subsidiary, the Yokohama Tire Philippines, Inc., whose plant and office are located in Clark Special Economic Zone, Clark Field, Pampanga.

At present, YTPI makes passenger car tires with internal diameters of 13 to18 inches and tires for sports utility vehicles, and exports some 90 per cent of those tires to Europe, Middle East and ASEAN countries. Its 10th year anniversary in the country in 2006 will see an expansion in its production capacity to 7 million tires per year starting in September 2006.

Fuente Towers: Cebu’s Tallest High-Rise Complex

Fuente TowersSitting on one of the high-elevation areas in uptown Cebu City , Fuente Towers will be the tallest structures to ever grace the city skyline.

Located in the commercial hub and the prime business address of Cebu, Fuente Towers are within the commercial and residential mega-complex that is set to become the prime business and residential addresses of modern Cebu. The tri-towers complex is set to dominate the city skyline when completed in late 2007.

The Fuente Tower 1, at 38 stories high, will easily become the tallest skyscraper in the city eclipsing its sister Tower 3 which is two stories shorter at 36 floors. The shortest, Fuente Tower 2 will have 23 floors and will house the 300-room Crown Regency Hotel. Tower 1 will house the largest and most exclusive club membership in southern Philippines, the Club Ultima. The Tower 3, on the other hand, will be a 342-unit residential condominium to be constructed on a 2,000-square meter area next to Tower 1.
