Cebu’s Jewelers Subdued Iloilo Warriors

Stephen Padilla got his best game on Sunday as he led Cebu’s M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu City Jewelers to steal the game from Toyota-Iloilo Warriors’ own backyard in the Visayas Division of the Mindanao-Visayas Basketball Association (MVBA) First Conference at the University of San Agustin Gym in Iloilo City.

Scoring a team-high 15 points in the game means a lot to the ex-Alaska Aces cager and the whole team as they beat the host, 86-72. Padilla got the much-needed support from Alan Caputolan who had 14 points as M. Lhuillier completed a wire-to-wire finish and tightened its hold of solo first place in their division.

JVC Badminton Regional Leg

The best badminton players in Cebu and neighboring provinces in Central Visayas are seeing action today at the Holiday Spa Badminton Court in Banilad for the 2006 JVC Badminton Regional Leg.

The event was to formally open on Monday but was delayed in order to give ample time to out-of-towners who have to travel by sea or land to Cebu.

The annual event is one of the biggest badminton tournaments that gathers some of the best players in the country. The event starts with the regional legs across the country in which a winner will get the right to represent his/her region in the national finals usually held in Manila.

Medical transcription (MT) is the process of transforming dictation of physicians and other healthcare professionals to written text. This written text may be stored as printed and/or electronic data. Increasingly, electronic medical records are the preferred means of data storage, allowing medical professionals the ability to access information regardless of geographical distance.

An individual who performs medical transcription is known as a medical transcriptionist or, less frequently, a medical transcriber. A transcriber should possess an excellent command in a language from which the transcription is based on. Quite incidentally, English language is often the most preferred medium in the medical transcription industry.
