Yesterday, I featured Leo Oracion, a resident of Cebu who first climbed the Mt. Everest. Indeed, Leo made it to the top of the world.

Without knowing, Leo is already a national hero. Not just to his family but to the country as well. He brings honor and pride to the country.

“THERE is more to it than just the pride of being the first Filipino to climb Everest.” Niño Abarquez, a fellow adventure racer, a competitor and a close confidante of Heradio “Leo” Oracion in Cebu, said there was a lot of sacrifices behind Oracion’s success in conquering the summit of Mt. Everest.

The Beauty of Marcelo

It was Saturday evening, when my friends and I had decided to have a picnic. From work, we headed to the park of Marcelo Fernan Bridge- the Bridge 2 as they call it. It is located between the Lapu-Lapu and Mactan, Cebu area.

All of us were so exhausted from work yet as we came there, it turned into laughter and joy as we saw the beauty of the park and the sceneries and lights in the city. We came there around 7:00 p.m. and brought some pizza and cola to satisfy our hunger and thirst. We really enjoyed much as we took pictures of ourselves under the bridge and we were so amazed of its beauty.

Here’s some pics of memories and laughter and hope you could visit there too!
