Cebu’s concert scene will once again be illuminated by the brightest star of the Philippine entertainment industry. Megastar Sharon Cuneta goes Live in Cebu! on September 9, Saturday, 8 p.m. at the Waterfront Hotel Grand Ballroom.

Special guest star is one of Asia’s most sought-after Pop artists Christian Bautista and is under the musical direction of Louie Ocampo. Concert ticket prices range from P500, P800, P1000. With a limited VIP seats at P1,500 and P2,500 and are available at the Ayala Mall and Waterfront Hotel ticket counters. This concert is for the benefit of the Responsive Education for Autistic Children (Reach) Foundation.

A Cebu City-based businessman led the medal haulers as the shotgun squad of Team Philippines blazed through the Singapore Inaugural PPC WA1500 Shooting Competition that closed last Tuesday.

Gerry Velez, who also represented the country in the shotgun matches of the last Southeast Asian Games (Seag) clinched the gold in the individual pump-action event, picked up another gold in the team event and, later, snatched a bronze in the team semi-automatic shotgun category. More …
