In preparation of the 12th ASEAN Summit this coming December the group of volunteers in the Cebu Blog as come up with a compilation of some of Cebu’s attractive tourist destination for them to visit and take a sneak peak of for the delegates.

Magellan’s Crosss, the site where Cebu was first discovered.
Basilica Minore del Santo Niño , the oldest church in the country.
Lapulapu Shrine in Mactan, the shrine of the earliest known chieftain of Mactan Island in the Philippines.
Fort San Pedro, a military based structure in Cebu City build on the WW2.
Marcel Fernan Bridge, is an extradosed cable-stayed bridge located in Cebu opened in 1999.

Christmas ‘parols’ to brighten major routes of Asean Summit venues

A spirit-filled Christmas atmosphere will liven up Cebu as Christmas lanterns or “parols” colorfully brighten up the streets especially in the ceremonial routes of the Asean summit venues.

In Cebu City, commercial establishments and residents located in major thoroughfares are asked to beautify their immediate surroundings and install Christmas decors and lights to show our foreign visitors the typical Christmas tradition being celebrated in the country. More…

Cebu IT park owner sees more expansion

Cebu Property Ventures and Development Corp., owner of Asiatown IT
Park (AITP) in Lahug, Cebu expects to increase the park’s 5,700 working
population with the recent opening of the Engineering Sciences Building
of the Primary Industrial Properties Corp. (PIPC) and Skyrise Building
of the Skyrise Realty and Development Corp., the company said in a
statement.

PIPC is currently completing its second building with 17,611 square meters of leasable office space.

For contact center employees, the park posted an increase of more than 50 percent this year.  More …
