Cebu Implements US$11.6 MLN of Infrastructure Projects
The Cebu Provincial Government is beating the March 30 infrastructure ban in connection with the May 14 elections by bidding out P566.6 million (US$11.6 million) worth of infrastructure projects.A huge chunk of the budget will be for the asphalting of 154.5 kilometers of provincial roads worth P495 million, improvement of 21 bridges costing P50.8 million, repair of school buildings costing P3.6 million, construction of waterworks system costing P5.9 million and riprapping works in Tudela and Poro in Camotes island worth P2.2 million.
