THE Department of Tourism (DOT) is targeting to lure 3.1 million foreign tourists by the end of this year, a tourism official said.DOT Secretary Joseph “Ace†Durano said the agency is maintaining the eight to 10 percent growth in tourist arrivals by 2007.
HE is optimitistic of its target visitor arrival this year, especially in Cebu, due to the province’s successful hosting of the 12th Association of Southeast Asian Nations summit.
