The award given in cooperation with the Cebu City Police Office and the Cebu City government aims to encourage policemen to perform their duties diligently and conscientiously.

Kiwanis Club of Cebu president William Medici said the club can only afford to honor a few policemen in their efforts to balance their public and private lives.
