The town, also known as a shipbuilding center, is one and a half hours away by road from Cebu City through the Transcentral Highway.
Balamban has Mt. Manunggal, Cebu’s highest peak where President Ramon Magsayasay was killed in a plane crash, as well the deepest caves in the province. Inq.net
