Tiny bats in cathedral-like caves
Wednesday, December 5th, 2007-
The magnificent display of rock-like forms in Salay cave in Barangay (village) Valencia, Alegria is drawing mountaineers and cave enthusiasts to visit this sleepy town in southwestern Cebu.
Spelunkers like the late Dr. Adolf Espina and American caver and trainer Charles Festerson appreciated the uniqueness of Salay’s cathedral-like interior that is not even found in Europe, which is known for beautiful caves, said Ronnie Baisac, a local spelunker. Inq.net
