Israel,Cebu deal seen to boost tourism

The recent sisterhood agreement between the Cebu Provincial government and the city of Rishon Lezion in Israel will open more opportunities for local traders and add more tourism prospects for Cebu.

Samuel Chioson, who was one of the 30 delegates of the trade mission to Israel in early September, said that the trade mission and sisterhood agreement would make Cebu more exposed to the outside world.

“When they (Israeli tourists) come here, we will also create business for our tourism sectors,” said Chioson, who is the president of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI). More..
